We sell both the SunCafé Single cup coffee brewer and Kienna Coffee pods to use with it.

Kienna offers twenty different blends in the form of coffee pods. We carry 18 kinds. Please tell us if there’s one you’d like from us that we don’t have. When you come in we are always happy to brew you a cup of your favourite blend or you might try something new.

The Sun Café Pod Brewer offers you the following features:

• Programming options that allow you to calibrate each of the (5) Volume settings to your own individual taste.
• Coffee & Tea pods from many fine Roasters will work in the Sun Café. This offers you more variety than any other single cup in the plastic capsules.
• The Sun Café has unique flow channels in the pod holder that prevent water from flowing around or through the pod too quickly.
• A paused water flow system optimizes the contact between the water and the coffee.
• The Sun Café uses a strong pump that produces aprox. 35 psi of pressure in the Brewing Chamber. This pressure along with the temperature of 195 deg.F water at the brew head, combine to capture and extract all the flavour, aroma and complexity of the coffee in every cup.
• Our built in boiler provides a very fast recovery between servings. You can also take advantage of having instant hot water for other beverages and products such as: Hot Chocolate, Cups of Soup, Instant Oatmeal.

Can I buy the Kienna coffee pods individually?

•  Yes, absolutely! We presently carry 19 different blends, as listed above, and you are free to mix and match any of them as you please.

Can I try the Kienna coffee before buying a SunCafe brewer and the coffee pods?

• Yes, absolutely! Please come in anytime and try a cup. We will brew it for you while you wait. It only takes 1-2 minutes. In fact we invite you to have a cup of coffee every time you come in to buy more coffee pods.

Are the coffee pods compostable?

• Yes, absolutely! And I have it on good authority that the package the pod comes in will eventually be made out of something biodegradable too.

Can the Kienna coffee pods be used with other brands of single-cup coffee makers such as Keurig or Tassimo?

• Yes, if the brewer uses coffee “Pods” that look like the ones you see in the picture. These pods work in the Senseo, Melitta, Hamilton Beach single-cup coffee pod makers. Also, I sell the KiennaKup Adapter which allows you to use these pods in K-cup compatible machines.    

Can you make drinks other than coffee in the SunCafe brewer?

• Sort of. There aren’t pods for other drinks but you can get a hot cup of water almost instantly by pushing the brew button without a pod inside. It will fill your cup with hot water perfect for hot chocolate or a cup of soup.

Can you make espresso or cappuccino with the SunCafe brewer?

• No, you can enjoy 20 blends from Kienna Coffee but this particular machine isn’t designed to make espresso or derivative drinks.

Do you sell any other brand of single cup brewer or coffee pods?

• No, I don’t sell any other brand.

Aren’t you biased towards the Kienna and SunCafe brand?

• Yes, absolutely! But I became biased after tasting the coffee and using the brewer. That’s why I wanted to sell it. It wasn’t the other way around.

Not only does this end up being wasteful but, with gourmet coffee, it can be very expensive.
